Art Adventures at Riverside Off Center
 Looking for something fun to do on Saturdays? Join us for Art Adventures!
Make art and have fun in a safe, hands-on learning environment. Classes are taught by Eastern Michigan University’s senior Visual Art Education majors and supervised by Professor Beth Ament and Teaching Assistant Lois Bryant. Students draw, paint, create sculptures, talk about art, tour the Riverside Arts Center Gallery, and make great memories. All new projects! Sign up for one, two or three sessions. Dress to get messy!
Three different three-week sessions are available, with classes geared to several different grade levels:

Class Location
Classes will take place in the Riverside Off Center (former Detroit Edison Building), 64 N. Huron St., Ypsilanti. Free parking is available in the lot just north of the Riverside Arts Center at 76 N. Huron St. Occasionally, we will walk around the neighborhood and to the Riverside Arts Center gallery next door. Class Attire
Many of the materials used in class are permanent and cannot be washed out. Students are advised to dress for mess, so it’s a good idea to wear old clothing.
Registration
Class fees are $33 per session per student, which include all materials. No refunds will be given for missed classes. Pre-registration is required. Please use the registration form on reverse side. For questions about registration, contact Lois Bryant at lbryant2@emich.edu or 734-272-5111. A limited number of scholarships are available. Applicants will receive confirmation by phone or email. Please bring your child to the first class.
Cancellations
If a class is full or cancelled, we will contact you. Classes that do not meet minimum enrollment may be cancelled. Fees are not refundable unless Riverside cancels a class.
Say Cheese!
Photographers will be on hand to take pictures of classroom activities for possible publication and grant reporting purposes. If you prefer not to have pictures taken of your child, please notify the class instructor.
